No Sanat Kumāra Saṁhitā, Śiva instrui Nārada Muni:
184 e 185
The next time someone wrongly argues that it is not the Bhakta, the Sādhaka who chooses how to relate with Kṛṣṇa, that Rāgānugā Bhakti is not essential in the practice of Kṛṣṇa Consciousness ... just show this verse in the words of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu Himself.
Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta Madhya-līlā 22.161:
dāsa-sakhā-pitrādi-preyasīra gaṇa
rāga-mārge nija-nija-bhāvera gaṇana
"There are many types of devotees — some are servants, some are friends, some are parents, and some are conjugal lovers. Rāgānugā Bhaktas are mystics on the path of Rāga (rāga-mārge) who choose the Rasa (nija-nija-bhāvera) with whom they relate to Kṛṣṇa."
nija-nija — of one’s own choice
So, have you already chosen?
Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta warns that: "Don't let your days go by without making this choice. Don't let your days go by."
In the case of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavas they choose Mādhurya Mañjarī Bhava because Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu is Kṛṣṇa exclusively in Rādhā's conjugal mood.
In Sanat Kumāra Saṁhitā, Śiva instructs Nārada Muni:
184 and 185
ātmānaṃ cintayet tatra
tāsāṃ madhye manoramām
rūpa-yauvana-sampannāṃ
kiśorīṃ pramadākṛtim
nānā-śilpa-kalābhijñāṃ
kṛṣṇa-bhogānurūpiṇīm
prārthitām api kṛṣṇena
tato bhoga-parāṅmukhīm
The Sādhaka should think of oneself as a beautiful young Mañjarī girl expert in various arts, pleasing to Rādhā Kṛṣṇa, reluctant to directly enjoy with Kṛṣṇa even if He were personally to invite you.
186
rādhikānucarīṃ nityaṃ
tat-sevana-parāyaṇām
kṛṣṇād apy adhikaṃ prema
rādhikāyāṃ prakurvatīm
The Sādhaka should think of oneself as a follower of Śrī Rādhā, always devoted to Her service, more affectionate to Śrī Rādhā than to Śrī Kṛṣṇa Himself.
187
prītyānudivasaṃ yatnāt
tayoḥ saṅgama-kāriṇīm
tat-sevana-sukhāsvāda-
bhareṇāti-su-nirvṛtam
Every day carefully and affectionately arranging the meeting of Śrī Śrī Rādhā Kṛṣṇa, and becoming happy to see Them pleased by your service.
188
ity ātmānaṃ vicintyaiva
tatra sevāṃ samācaret
brāhma-muhūrtam ārabhya
yāvat sāntā mahā-niśā
Thinking of oneself in this way, one should serve Śrī Śrī Rādhā Kṛṣṇa from the early morning of Brāhma-muhūrta to the end of night.
Śrīla Prabhupāda in the Nectar of Instruction Preface:
"Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu appeared in order to bestow upon human society the benediction of the science of Kṛṣṇa.
The most exalted of all the activities of Lord Kṛṣṇa are His pastimes of conjugal love with the gopīs.
Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu appeared in the mood of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, the best of the gopīs.
Therefore, to understand the mission of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and follow in His footsteps, one must very seriously follow in the footsteps of the Six Gosvāmīs – Śrī Rūpa, Sanātana, Bhaṭṭa Raghunātha, Śrī Jīva, Gopāla Bhaṭṭa and Dāsa Raghunātha."
