Em algum momento da vida devocional de um seguidor de Śrīla Prabhupāda, tal devot@ deverá, bem antes, muito antes de alcançar a meta final, nesta mesma vida, transitar de uma forma consciente de Vaidhī Sādhana para Rāgānugā Sādhana. Seguindo o Guru (Dīkṣā e/ou Śikṣā). Continuará observando regras (Vidhi), mas com um humor interno diferente.
Aqueles que estão inclinados a adorar o Senhor Supremo Viṣṇu em Vaikuṇṭha num humor de grande reverência, não precisam fazer nenhuma transição.
Basta continuarem a adorar e servir com admiração e veneração até alcançarem a perfeição ou o tipo de Prema em Vaidhī Bhakti que é consciente das opulências do Senhor Viṣṇu em Vaikuṇṭha (aiśvarya-jñāna).
No entanto, aqueles que desejam uma relação de serviço íntimo em Goloka Vṛndāvana com Śrī Kṛṣṇa deverão fazer tal transição, deixando de considerar Kṛṣṇa como o Senhor Supremo e passando a cultivar uma relação (Rasa) específica (ainda que externamente, e quando necessário, apresentem Kṛṣṇa como o Senhor Supremo).
É por isso que o Śrīmad Bhāgavatam descreve as actividades de Kṛṣṇa em Vṛndāvana, para o devot@ despertar Lobha (avidez) por uma relação íntima em Vṛndāvana.
E é por isso que Śrīla Prabhupāda afirma que para os Gauḍīyā Vaiṣṇavas, Vaidhī Bhakti é aprendizagem e verdadeira Bhakti é Rāgānugā Bhakti.
Outras Sampradāyas Vaiṣṇavas é que seguem exclusivamente Vaidhī Bhakti.
At some point in devotional life a follower of Srila Prabhupada, such devotee, must, before, long before reaching the ultimate goal, in this very life, consciously move from Vaidhi Sadhana to Raganuga Sadhana. Following the Guru (Diksa and/or Siksa).
He/she continues following rules (Vidhi), but with a different internal mood.
Those who are inclined to worship the Supreme Lord Visnu in Vaikuntha with the humor of great reverence, do not need to make any transition.
Just continue to worship and serve with awe and veneration until they reach perfection or the type of Prema in Vaidhi Bhakti which is aware of the opulences of Lord Visnu in Vaikuntha (aisvarya-jnana).
However, those who aspire a intimate relationship of service in Goloka Vrndavana with Sri Krsna must make such a transition, leaving the consideration that Krsna is the Supreme Lord and starting to cultivate a specific relationship (Rasa) (although externally, and when necessary, present Krsna as the Supreme Lord).
That is why Srimad Bhagavatam describes the activities of Krsna in Vrndavana, for devotees awakening Lobha (greed) for an intimate relationship in Vrndavana.
And that is why Srila Prabhupada states that for Gaudiya Vaisnavas, Vaidhi Bhakti is apprenticeship and real Bhakti is Raganuga Bhakti.
There are others Vaisnava Sampradayas which are exclusively following Vaidhi Bhakti.
