Śrī Paurṇamāsī-devī é a personificação de Yogamāyā, ou Līlā-śakti, a Śakti que faz com que Kṛṣṇa e Seus devotos fiquem JUNTOS, ainda que confusos !!!
Ela conhece muitos Mantras e métodos mágicos, que usa para criar as circunstâncias perfeitas para as Līlās de Rādhā e Kṛṣṇa !!!
"As Gopīs podem destruir sua angústia apenas por encontrar Kṛṣṇa. Com o pretexto de colectar flores, as Gopīs correm para a floresta de Vṛndāvana. O todo-misericordioso e indomável Kṛṣṇa, emociona-se ao perceber a chegada de Suas amadas.
Yogamāyā ajuda as Gopīs fazendo corpos duplicados delas. Assim, seus maridos e sogras acreditam que ainda estão por perto. Surpreendentemente, porém, as Gopīs nem sequer sabem que Yogamāyā as está a ajudar; o que falar dos outros?" (Kṛṣṇāhnika-kaumudī de Kavi Karṇapura)
Alguns propõem que como não há Mahāmāyā no mundo espiritual, então o Jīva "cai" do mundo espiritual por arranjo de Yogamāyā. MAS esta proposição é absurda e é feita por alguém que não conhece a natureza de Yogamāyā, também chamada de Līlā-śakti.
Yogamāyā, como seu próprio nome diz Līlā-śakti, embora "confunda" um associado eterno, tem a função de incrementar a Līlā e Rasa e aproximar tal associado de Kṛṣṇa.
Enquanto que Mahāmāyā tem a função de afastar e distanciar a entidade viva de Kṛṣṇa por milhões e bilhões de vidas. Mahāmāyā faz o Jīva esquecer sua posição como servo.
Yogamāyā confunde, mas aproxima de Kṛṣṇa. Enquanto Mahāmāyā confunde e afasta de Kṛṣṇa.
Citações de Śrīla Prabhupāda:
"Yogamāyā é o nome da potência interna que faz o Senhor esquecer-se de Si mesmo e tornar-se um objecto de amor para o Seu devoto puro em diferentes doçuras transcendentais." (CC Ādi 4.29)
"Sempre que o Senhor deseja, Sua energia inconcebível (Yogamāyā) serve-O em criar e realizar (tais) passatempos." (CC Ādi 5.41)
"Aqueles que são espiritualmente avançados esquecem a opulência de Kṛṣṇa pela misericórdia de Yogamāyā. Por exemplo, mãe Yaśodā considera Kṛṣṇa como uma criança comum." (CC Madhya 19.205)
"Se alguém tenta misturar a adoração de Yogamāyā com a adoração de Mahāmāyā, considerando-as uma e a mesma, ele não mostra realmente muita inteligência. Tolos e patifes dizem que a adoração de Yogamāyā e a adoração de Mahāmāyā são a mesma coisa. Esta conclusão é simplesmente o resultado de especulação mental, e não tem efeito prático." (CC Madhya 8.90)

She knows many magical Mantras and methods, which she uses to create the perfect circumstances for Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa’s Līlās !!!
"Only by meeting Kṛṣṇa, the Gopīs can destroy their anguish. On the pretext of collecting flowers the Gopīs rush off to the forest of Vṛndāvana. The all-merciful and indomitable Kṛṣṇa thrills with joy upon perceiving the arrival of His beloveds.
Yogamāyā helps the Gopīs by making duplicate bodies for them. Thus their husbands and mothers-in-law believe that they are still nearby. Astonishingly though, the Gopīs do not even know that Yogamāyā is helping them; what to speak of others?" (Kṛṣṇāhnika-kaumudī by Kavi Karṇapura)
Some propose that since there is no Mahāmāyā in the spiritual world, then the Jīva "falls" from the spiritual world by arrangement of Yogamāyā. BUT this proposition is absurd and it is made by one who does not know the nature of Yogamāyā, also called Līlā-śakti.
Yogamāyā, as her own name says Līlā-śakti, while "confuses" an eternal associate, has the function of increasing Līlā and Rasa and bringing such associate closer to Kṛṣṇa.
While Mahāmāyā has the function of moving away and distancing the living entity of Kṛṣṇa by millions and billions of lives. Mahāmāyā makes the Jīva forget the position as a servant.
Yogamāyā confuses, but approaches the living entity to Kṛṣṇa. While Mahāmāyā confuses and distances the living entity of Kṛṣṇa.
Quotes from Śrīla Prabhupāda:
"Yogamāyā is the name of the internal potency that makes the Lord forget Himself and become an object of love for His pure devotee in different transcendental mellows." (CC Ādi 4.29)
"Whenever the Lord desires, His inconceivable energy (Yogamāyā) serves Him in creating and performing (such) pastimes." (CC Ādi 5.41)
"Those who are spiritually advanced forget Kṛṣṇa's opulence by the mercy of Yogamāyā. For instance, mother Yaśodā considered Kṛṣṇa an ordinary child." (CC Madhya 19.205)
"If one tries to mingle the worship of Yogamāyā with that of Mahāmāyā, considering them one and the same, he does not really show very high intelligence. Fools and rascals say that the worship of Yogamāyā and the worship of Mahāmāyā are the same. This conclusion is simply the result of mental speculation, and it has no practical effect." (CC Madhya 8.90)
